Worship is an individual experience. We all go to church but we are there for different reasons. Sure we go to worship the Lord as one but what motivates us to worship are different reasons other than God. Some wish to commune. Some seek peace. Others are in the pews full of envy and hate. Some come for the purpose of show. For the most part I believe folks go to church on Sunday and go to hell on Monday. If the world were at peace the world would be boring as a rock. I would prefere peace to the drama laden world we have today.

I feel for Africa. There is so much potential there but because of the crushing poverty there is contention and jealousy thriving there. Might makes right and folks are in fear of those with the machete and the gun. Theivery and con games, mass rapings and mass intimidation due to selfishness and pride keeps folks away from helping Africa. I believe the world has cast an eye onto Africa and hopes the people will destroy themselves. This is a place where the church is a gathering place for the only message of good news is availiable. A place you can dress up and be seen as a blessed child of God when you may not have enough to eat. The folks in Africa needs the help of the world as all of the world belongs to all of us and we need to stewart those tortured souls back into the full embrace of God Almighty.

The question should not be what does hell mean to you but rather what does peace mean to you? Could you actually handle peace? I say the state of being peaceful would be boring. No daily drama, no wars, everyone respecting each other and getting nothing done because there would be no engagement or contention. No one would be wrong and no one would be right. What would your appearenc be? As you would imagine it or as your loved ones remember who you were? Or is peace part of a system? Like a rock at the bottom of a stream for all eternity. Remember nothing is truly static. When the earth gets destroyed you will move with the forces. Or is heaven a place where your needs and desires are met to perfection. Where everything goes your way and you are the boss. Where folks bow before you and satisfies your every whim. Is that what God intends for you? It seems sort of sinful to me and seems more hades than heaven as someone must be below you before you are truly happy. I have considered a world of real peace and even though real peace is boring I'd take it over a world of contention such as this world. Hell you say.........????
