God and Family

by Tay_Diamond
I need help on something... I was raised LDS and now at 22 I have found the truth and I am now saved. I am dating someone htat is very strong in our faith and we have began to talk about getting married. Every 1st Sunday of the month is Family Home Evening (LDS thing) with my family (I am the only one saved). Next weekend I will be missing Morning and Evening service to go to a family baby blessing and FHE. I was always raised with the teaching that family is the most important thing. Now I know that God is the most important thing and family comes 2nd.

Where The Wild Things Are

I graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University, where I met my wife. I love God and I love the three girls in my life. The rest is just details.

Where the Wild Things Are shaped me and gave me a framework in which to understand grace.  The book grabbed my heart as a boy and has not let go because, as an adult, I know that I need grace now more than ever.

Change The World Prayer Vigil

Join prayer vigil for Change The World, May 19-20.

Join our prayer team.

Prayer connects you with God and with others who care. When a person needs a 'faith lift', they say a small prayer. That person may also ask a friend to pray for their situation or need, too. This Change the World prayer team works the same way -- it multiplies the power of prayers.

Praying is as important as being there.

3 ways to say 'I love You'

1) Build each other up daily.

Would a prayer help?

You’re never alone.
