Thank You for making a difference!
Over 500 volunteers, picked up trash from the streets and alleys of the Palos Verdes neighborhood and also cleaned up parts of a nature trail.
For the second consecutive year, young adults from around the country attending a United Methodist convention stepped out into the streets of Las Vegas. They wanted to give back to the community by helping to preserve the city trails, giving citizens and visitors an escape from the night life to create a healthy and enjoyable outdoor experience.

Meeting Location: corner of E. Flamingo Rd. and Palos Verdes St. (intersection is one block North of Flamingo and Palos Verdes - behind the Holiday Inn)
Registration begins at 9am, event will end at 11:30am.
ALL VOLUNTEERS UNDER 18 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WITH THEM.
Project Details:
- Trash Pick-up
- Graffiti removal by painting over walls
- Help residents dispose of old furniture
- Republic services will drop off 2 large dumpsters and 2 large trash trucks will be removing the trash bags.
Please wear outdoor clothing and close-toed shoes.
